How it works

  1. Paste a link. Any public video address — with or without https://, or just the video ID. No account and no extension needed.
  2. Pick a format. MP4 in whatever quality the source actually offers, or MP3 when you only want the audio.
  3. Save the file. The video is fetched by our server and handed to you as a direct download. It is deleted automatically after 30 minutes.

Which sites work?

TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Reddit and thousands more. Availability is not guaranteed: the source may change its player, restrict the content, or refuse requests from a server network. YouTube is currently switched off here, because it refuses requests from this server's network.

Are TikTok and Instagram downloads watermark-free?

Where the platform serves a clean stream, yes. We request the original file rather than the watermarked copy and never add an overlay. If the only version the platform exposes is watermarked, we cannot remove a watermark that is baked into the source.

How do I get an MP3?

Turn on Audio only (MP3) before grabbing, or pick the MP3 entry from the format list. The audio track is extracted and converted to MP3. The option only appears when the server has FFmpeg.

Why did my link fail?

Usually the post is private or friends-only, the video was deleted, the link points at a profile or playlist instead of a single video, or the platform is temporarily limiting requests from this server. Try a direct link to one public video.

How do I download a TikTok video without a watermark?

Paste the TikTok link above and choose a format. We request the original file the platform serves rather than the watermarked copy, and we never add an overlay of our own. If TikTok only exposes a watermarked version for that post, that is what you get — a watermark baked into the file cannot be removed by anyone.

Can I download Instagram Reels and Facebook videos?

Yes, for public posts. Paste the Reel, post or video link and pick a format. Private accounts, stories behind a login, and content restricted to certain audiences cannot be fetched, because this tool never signs in to anyone's account.

Is there a file size or download limit?

Files are capped at 500 MB, and each visitor can run a limited number of downloads at a time so one person cannot fill the server. There is no daily quota and no sign-up.

Does VGrab work on a phone?

Yes. The site is built for mobile first: paste the link from the share sheet, choose a format, and the file saves to your downloads. No app to install.

How long is the file kept?

Temporary files are deleted automatically after the retention window (typically 30 minutes). The page shows the exact expiry time when your file is ready. Nothing is archived and there is no account history.
